Andy (20) is a young Brit making a big impression at ski competitions from North America to Australia. Since first trying skiing aged 4 years while on holiday in Dorset, Andy has been skiing every week of his life, working towards his goal of qualifying for the Olympics in 2006. His recent classification as a "Gold Olympic Passport' holder means that he is well on his way to Torino, Italy.

At freestyle competitions Andy goes big with style, busting out with gratuitous moves that demand respect from spectators and judges alike. His favourite tricks are "switch spins" (especially 180's, D spin 720's and lazy back flips) which he performs with an apparent ease born from many years of practice in the fun park at Sheffield Ski Village, where he trains with the rest of the LINE UK Pro-team.

Andy is a pretty chilled, laid-back character off-mountain but give him a kicker to play with or some back country to explore and he reveals his own lunatic streak, getting elevation and rotation guaranteed to boost the circulation of anyone watching. This is a guy who stores-up his attitude for whenever he catches gravity by surprise and heads for space, showing that man really can fly.

Andy has just returned from an amazing week in Europe... he came 2nd in the Verbier Ride Slopestyle and 6th in the Chamjam Big Air, both awesome results in two high profile comps... and in both events Andy was the highest placed Brit. No wonder he found himself doing interviews with Channel 4 TV, Extreme TV and Eurosports after his fantastic Verbier Ride result!
