BIG AIR

The Big Air is the most popular freeski sport for the spectator, making it the perfect indoor event for the London Ride at The Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard Show in London.

Off a 2.5m kicker clearing more than a 6 metre wide vert ramp, the skiers will be competing to land the biggest and wildest jumps with enough space to pull off 7's and 9's no doubt. Visually, this is an awe-inspiring event, showcasing the skill, courage and creativity of modern skiers.

The person who puts on the most explosive display, whilst remaining in control (i.e. landing the jump) wins the competition. Competitors are judged over two jumps on difficulty, style and amplitude.

RAIL SLIDE

The Urban Rails comp will take place throughout the streets of London from Brixton to Camden, not forgetting the special features of Central London!  Video camera will follow the riders and the comp will be judged on Eurosport in November during broadcast by several judges and the general public.
