THE LONDON Ride 2009 |
 |
This year's event was the 6th London Ride Freeski Competition. The event took place at the Metro Ski and Snowboard Show 2009 (www.metroskishow.co.uk). The London Ride is the premiere UK location for the Ride series of Freeskiing events which include the Verbier Ride (www.verbierride.com), the Saas-Fee Ride (www.saasfeeride.com) and the Urban Ride (www.theurbanride.com).
The Big Air competition took place on Saturday 24th October and gave London a taste of the International level of freestyle skiing. Skiers such as Flo Wieser (Volkl), Paddy Graham (Volkl), PC Fosse (Faction), James Woods (Salomon) and Murray Buchan (Volkl) hit the Big Air kicker and displayed huge height and awesome style delivering to the crowd different tricks and each riders individual style.
You can check out and watch the awesome action with the highlights from the event by clicking below the TV screen to left on this homepage.
